It was incorporated in 1934 and it conducts business from its registered head office which is located in Sant Adria De Besos, Spain. The company primarily manufactures chemicals using basic processes, such as thermal cracking and distillation. These chemicals manufactured are usually separate chemical elements or separate chemically-defined compounds. Examples of these chemicals are the following: refined petroleum or liquid hydrocarbons, synthetic organic dyes and pigments, organic industrial gases, natural glycerin, activated charcoal, coal tar crude, and natural food colorings. In addition, the company manufactures other products, such as organic insecticidal, herbicidal, fungicidal, and pesticidal preparations.
